Taking a flight with little ones can at times be difficult. Now parents face even more challenges when planning a trip. United wants to help make traveling with kids a little easier.
Today, United introduced a newly enhanced “all-in-one” activity kit for children, specially designed to keep kids safe and entertained while flying. The kits, available on all mainline United flights, have a variety of fun activities and kid-friendly offerings, including:
- Child sized mask
- Travel journal activity book with crayons
- Origami paper airplane activity
- Sanitizing wipe
- Eco-friendly, recyclable paper bag
United trialed activity kits for kids for travelers ages 2-10 earlier this year and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers and flight attendants. During the initial trial, the airline offered the kits to unaccompanied minors in the lobbies at DEN, IAD and LAX and to children traveling with parents inflight on flights from United’s hubs to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Orlando (MCO).
